Communication problem third party modules

I are trying to communicate the MP377 with an SLC50X (PLC doesn't have ethernet port) through the DFNT-DH485 module. What we are trying to do is read the variables from the PLC in the module (through DH485) and write them to the HMI (through ethernet). Right now I only have the HMI and the module. I can manipulate the values of the module's addresses with the ProSoft software and I am trying to manipulate them through the HMI as variables. The problem is that I cannot get to communiate both devices. In the HMI I get "####" instead of the value of the module's address that I have on a variable. In the ProSoft software I get a "No TCP/IP connection error" even though both devices are under the same network.
