Hello firiruku, There are different ways to use. You can use a S7-300 compact CPU, with integrated Count functions. There are some digital inputs that can be used as a High speed counter. See also the following manual: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/12429336 At the right you see 'info', there you can also download some examples. It's a manual about the Technological functions of Compact CPU. You will have to use SFB's to count. Another way is to use a FM350-1 or FM350-2 high speed counter card. The first one is a one-channel card and the other a 8-channel card. Here the counting is performed by the FM-card. It doesn't affect the cycle time of CPU. When you want to use S7-400, you can use FM450 Hope this will help. Best regards, Wizard |
