D

Number of running pumps were requested by temperature (variable) and the sequence of starting and stopping of the pumps were done according working hours of the pumps. 1) Pumps were started according less amount of working hours. 2) Pumps were stopeed according more amount of working hours. Basically I made a loop which searched in data block where working hours of the pumps were stored. I made an order of the pump for starting and stopping - this order is made by priority - priority for starting and stopping. These information leads to function for drive start and stop order. Each pump has priority for start and stop. Each pump has also start and stop enable flag (if the pump is already running, you cannot start it again and if the pump is already stopped you cannot stop it again - you have to use another pump in the order to start or stop). This function starts appropriate pump.. Regards.

D Hi there. It sounds too much as if you are asking us to write the program for you. Please share with us something (hand drawings / flow charts / ++) to convince us that you are making an effort to resolve this yourself. Then we can focus our efforts to guide you to your own solution. Also.. * Which PLC? * What program language? * Which software design tool? * Skill level (starter / advanced) * School project or Paid job. Hope to hear positively from you. w

There is lot of examples and posts. Some of them are realy useful and simple. Have a lokk atthis threadfirst. Andheretoo. Andhere. In my application 6 pumps are duty 2 pumps are standby. Each pumps having individual running HR/MINS/SEC In Duty the 6 pumps and will switch on based on demand. At the beginningtimethe motor with the least run hour is to switch on at the first demand step.. Im using Step-7 software. D

But you have to implement your owm way to start pump according less working hours.. I think the issue is not so difficult not to try. If you have any troubles with implementation, you can share your solution and we can help you. But in my eyes you have to be more active to start the implementationyou have a lot of information now to start... Regards.
