SIMATIC NET compatibility issues.

I am attempting to install SIMATIC NET 2005+HF1 under Windows 2003 Server + SP1 The '.NET' and 'Licence Manager' components install successfully, but during the installation, the SIMATIC NET installation program causes a fatal error ("Memory at location ..... cannot be 'read') which halts the installation. Are there any known problems / work-arounds for this type of installation? The SIMATIC NET Software CD states it is compatible with Windows 2003 Server + SP1. I did attempt to install SIMATIC NET 2005 (without the hot-fix) but as well as getting the same fatal error, I got a Data Execute Protection warning before another program was closed by the OS.

However, we received a 'SIMATIC NET 2005 + HotFix 1' CD with a CP 1613 A2 PCI Interface Card, and that specifically states it works with the service pack. I have been told that WinCC has a compatibility issue with 2003 Server + SP1, but I'll cross that bridge if it comes up.

I'm getting the same error message from three seperate programs "Instruction 0x00690020 at memory location 0x00000000 could not be 'written' " S_RHS.EXE crashes during installation,MMC.EXE crashes while attempting to configure, and MSIEXEC.EXEcrashes whileattempting to de-install SIMATIC NET.
