I have problem here , could you help me?

in the attached file i have small program consists of tow networks .the program executes very well (MW0 is accumulated well). but if i toggles the tow networks (put NW2 before NW1) the program run in wrong way.

(no accumulation).i would like to know the reason,please?

Nice trick, William. Do you know some others, for example how to see the post when you are trying to answer the same post.

The answer is: the counter is self reseting, therefore if the timer has elapsed, after passing the network 2 is reset/cleared again.

About the original question:
The code in the PLC is scanned from left to right and top to bottom. Furthermore the timer (T1) is updated each time the timer name is called.

That means when T1 is called in the contact in Network 1 -
* T1 accumulator is updated
* T1 coil is updated
* T1 coil is read and result used in the contact.

The original program will almost always work. There is a bigger chance to catch the T1 coil as on in network 1 than catching the T1 coil on in network 2. There is however a chance of missing a trigger.

With the networks swapped, the switched on timer coil does not get the opportunity to carry over to the ADD network.

The better option is...

* hold [SHIFT] and mouse click "Answer"
* a new window opens
* press [WINDOWS KEY] and [RIGHT] to dock the window to the right
* click on the original window
* press [WINDOWS KEY] and [LEFT] to dock the window to the left
* answer the question on the right window and read thread on the left
