I attached my config. for both CPUs to communicate through GPRS, one is active and the other is passive (i used the example 58099765_Set31_Var3_STEP7_V10)..

The connect_state, as you know it is started from 1 and upon program sequence it is go value 2, 3, and when there is a TC_CON error it is go to 4, and do TC_DISCONNECT and after that to value 5 and the timer started (i set to 5 seconds) and after that re-start the connection again.

my problem is the connect_state not stable at value 3, it is started with 1,2,3,4,5 and re-start the connection again:

- the communication is not established first since i didn't insert the IP address for the active CPU in the RemoteAddress --> ADDR in thePassiveCPU program. after that i put the active CPU IP address in the passiveCPU and the communication is established and there is send/receive process done every around 5 seconds, but as i said the connect_state is not stable at value 3 which means there is a TC_CON error DONE but there is no bad CON, send, or receive counters and their values remain 0.

i can see 80E8 error in the activeCPU and many errors codes in the passive CPU, but as i said there is data send/receive every around 5 seconds.

the CPUs are S7-1214c DC/DC/DC and the CP 1242-7 firmware 1.3.6.

the provider SIMs are in static APN, static private IP addresses, and the provider is allowing SIM-to-SIM communication since i see data send/recv at both CPUs and also we have more than 30 SIMs with the same APN, static private IP addresses and they communicating to each other successfully.

If my previous qyestion is not described well, in general, do the GPRS communication between two CPUs with direct mode require a n ew connection (call TC_CON) each program cycle or it is called only one time and the send/recv data is processed and it is called again if the connection disconnected by an external problem?

it is working now, there was something wrong with the code andthe communication is workedand the connect_state is always with value 3 (GPRS CPU-to-CPU communication using direct-mode).

but i have notice that if i stop the Passive CPU and run it again, the connection is not established automatically, the workaround is to stop the active CPU and run it again, is it a normal behaviour?

and it does not change  please support me with any useful idea that nay help me to over come its problem.
