TP270 Download

Hunky Posts: 82 Rating: (6)	Dear All, I am trying to download a small project in TP270 with my PC.I am using RS 232 cable to download. But when ever i am downloading it is giving error as "CHECK INTERFACE,CABLE ETC." I have change the setting in TPfor Serial Download & as well as "Download" options in Protool.But still am unbale to do it. Please help me. Thanks in advance. Regards PLC Engineer

You are using a RS232 cable (6ES7 901-1BF00-0XA0, please have a look at Cable layout, when you are using another cable: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/8039852 You cannot use an USB-RS232 convertor Best regards, Wizard

Hunky Posts: 82 Rating: (6)	I am using a RS232 cable with same pin configuration as you have mentioned. Whenever i am trying to download, it is giving error immediately without any try. I am attaching the screen shot. Please help in sorting out this case. Earlier i have done the same things,but it was working fine.But what has happened now. Hunky Posts: 82 Rating: (6)	Yes, it is enabled in TP270. And i tried with different Baud rate also. I guess is there any setting with my port or TP port. Please help me.

Hunky Posts: 82 Rating: (6)	HI I HAVE SET THE DEFAULTS VALUES FOR COM PORT IN MY PC. I TRIED WITH ANOTHER SYSTEM ALSO.BUT STILL THE SAME PROBLEM. I DOUBT IS THERE ANY PROBLEM ON TP SIDE. HOW CAN I DISABLE OTHER SOFTWARE USAGE OF PC PORT.IS THERE ANY METHOD.

Maybe you need anotherdriver for the communication port. You should unistall the driver and after that you should installa new driver thatshould find by yourOS system. Bye
