Helmut_13 Posts: 2930 Rating: (432)	Hi, You can use 24V encoder on each S7-200 PLC. All S7-200 PLC has high speed counter onboard you can use (Instuction wizard HSC). In S7-200 supported encoder: + Single phase and AB encoder (selection based on the HSC configuration) + Encoder with 24V pulses supported in each S7-200 PLC + Encoder with 5V pulse supported only by S7-200 PLC 224XP Install the second CD of MICROWIN. Here you find the complete documentation of S7-200. In MW select: Tools, Instuction wizard, HSC. This is the HSC wizard for easy HSC configuration. Select the HSC number and the mode and check to use the right inputs. Complete your user programm. This should help to get your encoder running. Regards Helmut Helmut
