Can't connect to Logo

kozzen12 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	what do i have tot do more i have installed my logo wit a cable to my network and network IP adress as 192.168.000.050 but when i run your program i do'n get connection with this IP . when i ping to the ip adress (off the logo) from my computer,i receive the packets can someone help my? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Logo - PC Communication programming Using Visual Studio.NET.

The subnet mask is different, the gateway is not identical either. The PC is in the subnet 169.254.142, the LOGO! In subnet 192.168.0., They can not communicate with each other. The IP address consists of 4 segments, xxx.yyy.zzz.nnn. The first 3 segments must be identical on the PC and the LOGO! the fourth segment must be different. The subnet mask in both must be the same, e.g. 255.255.255.0. If a gateway address is specified, it must be the same in both devices. However, it only needs to be specified if the devices are connected via a router.

Give it ie. 192.168.0.120, same subnet and gateway as the LOGO! RFC5735 states why the 169.x address appear - You are not connected to a DHCP server, which handles IP's out to clients. "169.254.0.0/16 - This is the "link local" block. As described in [RFC3927], it is allocated for communication between hosts on a single link. Hosts obtain these addresses by auto-configuration, such as when a DHCP server cannot be found."
