i am making application where S7 1214C DC/DC/DC PLC is communicating with generator controller via MODBUS TCP. Communication is working, but with time delay between readings.

Since S71200 MB_Client block is able to read only 120 registers per one MB_Client block ( for the same IP address server), i have to use two or more MB_Client blocks. Now, i am getting the readings from first block, but for second block I also have data saved in data block but only after approx 10-15 sec.

I have to have at least 3 sec pulse in order to disconnect block from connection. And when I use 3 sec disconnect for one block and 3 sec for second that is 6 sec minimum, so my readings are slow responsive. If I use smaller pulse communication is not working.

It seems that pulse for DISCONNECT should be no less than 3 sec. What if I have to use 5 MB_Client block for the same IP address? That would be time delay of 5x3sec = 15 sec delay between readings in block 1 and readings in block 5.

Please help, how can I speed up the connection ? there should be a way
