I have an application coming where I am totalising from a couple flowmeters, simple square wave pulse at a maximum of about 50 pulses per second.

As I have never used any S7-1200 and do not have one for testing, I would just like to know:-

If I use a CPU1215 can I use all 6 HSC's, it would appear I can, I just have one input required (pulse)?

The HSC does not appear to allow setpoint changes to the block from the an external source ie SCADA, am I right, how would I achieve this?

Does the block allow software reset of the counter?

If anyone could shed some light, I would be very grateful.
