Hereis the link whereI found the S7 message functions in cpu 417-4DP specs https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=6ES7417-4XL00-0AB0&caller=view I didn't find the information about the functions I woulc like to know how S7 message functions take place in the S7-400 cpu's doI get any documents,manual about S7 message functions?

Ssc_Mikro Posts: 196 Rating: (12)	Hi Swap For using the message function you can use SFC108, and FC107, any way siemens has some great examples how to use the S7 message function , please the attach link http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/21976869 I can also recommend to read the section in the Step7 help file called "Configuring Messages", there overview over the message concept. Personal if have used the message concept for some years now, I have programmed my fb's with the message service so i don’t have to configure the alarms and text in WinCC / winccFlex everything is done by my manager....
