Hey all

For some reason i have no reset for my HSC in the HSC config menu

I have using a 1212C AC/DC/RLY

working with HSC 1

I have a A/B phase encoder that is counting.

I found this old thread that clearly shows there is suppose to be a reset and a way to connect the index of the encoder to the reset.

However, mine does not have a reset for some reason. 

There is no place to assign the IO of the index to the HSC1

Any ideas?

Yes i have seen this.

On everyone elses example they have a reset section the properties for the HSC.

Like is seen in the 2016 post i linked to.

There has been changes since 2016 in the HSC functionalities. The hardware configuration for firmware now is different than earlier versions. The changes are for the better.

The replacement is called "synchronization input". Its trigger functionality has been (thankfully) been expanded. Please review the attached extract from the manual.
