wincc v7.4 communication step7 v5.6

hello everyone,

i am having a difficulty to communicate my step7 project with Wincc explorer, i follow all the steps and everything is good until the step where i should run the wincc and the PLCSIM so i can get it all done , at this moment when i run the plcsim it stops and when i open the interface pg/pc i find it empty so i cant charge the project and i can't do anything ( PLCSIM works fine if i launch it without wincc)

It’s look like if this reason is compatibility problem. I think you have not the complatible WinCC version to your STEP 7 version. Check the compatibility of the both version of the tools.

You ' ve an software: NetToPLCSIM in order to put the PLC of PLCSIM like a node on a network.  And, from other PC, you could try to establish connection with WinCC 7.4 with your PLC.

Pay attention, in your image there aren't any PG-PC interface.  You must select one.  If you do the connection with the NetToPLCSIM, you'll need to select an Ethernet connection...

Maybe it's not possible running PLCSIM and WInCC on the same machine.
