Read values from two single point load cells (wheatstone bridge)

Hello gentlemen, 

I'm working in a project where I need to read the values of two single point load cells. 

These loadcells are not siwarex but a third party vendor and give the values of 3 - 90 kg using a wheatstone bridge. 

Is there an IO card availble where I can connect directly to the wheatstone bridge (in the loadcells) to otain the weight values?

I am using a 1515 CPU.

I have been looking at the  SIWAREX WP522 ST. But the communication interface are Modbus TCP/IP (Ethernet), Modbus RTU (RS485).

I have also looked at the SIWAREX WP 251 card but thats for the 1200 system.

Any suggestions are welcome!

Hello Botic,

The Siwarex WP522 module is the correct one for the

S7-1515 CPU.

The communication between the Siwarex WP522 module and the S7-1515 CPU is handled with the Simatic backplane bus.

Modbus TCP/IP can be used, if you:

- want to connect directly an HMI-panel to the Siwarex WP522 module

OR

- would like to communicate with a third party CPU.

Modbus RTU can be used, if you:

- would like to communicate with a third party CPU.

But Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus RTU is NOT used for the communication between the Siwarex WP522 module and the S7-1515 CPU!
