I want to make an vertical elevator.

My suplier sold me an S71200 PLC an G120C with resistor, now i know this is not the ideal setup.

he told me to do it with TO_positioning and connecting the encoder on the HSC inputs of the S71200.

the encoder is mounted on the motor axle, and configured in the TO_positioning.

However i can not see the encoder signal. I use the function block MC_Move_absolute.

This Functionblock gives me the error you can see in the attachment.

It can be indeed the control loop or positioning monitorring but i do not know how to set this up correctly.

Is it possible i need an extra FB for the HSC?

Can someone give me some extra tips?
