Not able get the log-file over the webserve

I tried to get the log-file over the webserver, but it doesn't work.

On the CD-Card i have insert with a card reader in the file webroot/main.html following download strings:

• <a href="../172_1.csv">CSV load</a>
• <a href="../172_2.csv">CSV load</a>

Back in the LOGO, I pressed on the webbrowser these download link, i get following error message:

• 403: The target is forbidden

So i think that it is not allowed to access the root directory.

The other way is, to copy these main.htm to the root directory of the SD-Card and open the file in the browser "http://lfs/sdcard/main.htm". But i get the same error-message.

The third way is, to copy the csv-files from the root to the webroot directory and get them on this place over the download link. But i don't know what i can use to do the copy.

The easiest way were, that siemens changed their next logo update, to allow the download over http.
Or log the csv files in the webroot directory.
But i think that is a dream.

I have not checked it, but the main problem may be the open log files, while the plc is running. If you try some tricks, then stop the plc for testing. If you get the same errors with stopped plc, you are sure, there is an other condition, which prevents the access.

For my own idea, I will make a dummy carier SD card with 8 wires attached to the a SDcard socket.

And the socket have another end is a dummy carier SD card too.

Between one SD card dummy and SD card socket, you need to have switchable relays to cut or connect each end from socket to SD card cariers. Mean when you not download Log file, just let LOGO connect with SD card normally ( in socket out side LOGO ). And when you need to copy LOG files from SD card, you have to activate relays to cut 8 wires to LOGO and connect 8 wires to USB card reader on PC side.

This is just my idea. I am not sure if when SD card disconnect from LOGO while it run ,will make any errors or not. I am not sure.

 I think if Siemens make a small program to do the LOG file copy ,delete or Syncronize like LOGO access tool will be very good. No need to use LogoSoft.

Up to now i don't need to log data with a stand-alone controller. For start-up in our company we use a notebook with Profilab Expert software and Modbus communication. In the future it would be benefiting to have also a tool for our clients. Let us hope, the next Logo have an option to handle remote maintenance.

I had a discussion in the past according upload datalog from LOGO! with a Siemens technical engenier.

My request was to upload the datalog file in RUN Mode. Via LSC, Web-Server or LAT doesn't matter to me. A additional standalone tool can also be accepted.

It is not planed to offer such a possibility. LOGO! HW do not have recources to support such features in a "typical" way. The reason is that the transfere in RUN mode takes so much recources, that the scan time will get influeced. But this makes no sence because during upload you never know what is the influence to the scantime and was is the effect in the application.

Upload remotely in Stopp mode requires additinol security. From technical point of view no big deal, but need internal memory LOGO! do not has.
