S7-200 Clock Instructions

Husam Posts: 101 Rating: (11)	Hello I have read the S7-200 Manual, specifically about "Read Real-Time Clock" instruction. However, i could not get the system time-of-day output in my ladder program. the instruction is NOT in the main program NOR in an Interrupt Routine. I dont know why i am not able to get a result. NOTE: I am using CPU224 XP. So, could you please tell me how to get the system date out of it. is there some configuration that i have to do? Regards, Husam.

Husam Posts: 101 Rating: (11)	Hello Mausus, From your message, i realized that i should have set the clock.. thanks alot, PLC clock is now set. However, when i am reading the PLC Timpstamp using the specified instruction, and then transmit it to the free port, i don't receive it at the receiver side. When i debuged the status chart, i found that i correctly read the timestamp. however only the timestamp could not be transmitted through the free port although some other data were successfully transmitted. could you please help on that?
