TD 200 backup

Gkp Raina Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	Hi all, i want to take backup from td 200 hmi .i am using s7 226 cn dc/dc/dc plc where td 200 is interfaced with it.my requirement is just to take backup from the td 200, as i need to use tat in another td 200.i dont have backup code withme .i dont need to edit the text or something else .i simply need to take backup .i was thinking of using prosave .but i didn't find the td 200 hmi in tat .i dono wat to do.please guide me to get through this. regards prasanna gk. thanks in advance.

If it's different type please mention both partnumbers and if possible upload your S7-200 program and attach it to your post(Zipped) Regards, Marcjan

Gkp Raina Posts: 40 Rating: (0)	Hello sir, both were td 200 only.but parts num varys ,existing hmi's part num : 6ES7272-0AA30-0YA1 .i am gonna replace tat with td 200 having part num: 6ES7272-0AA30-0YA0.I don't have backup code to upload. regards prasanna gk

However if the TD parameters are changed(not default) you have a problem. If the device does not work you may need to change the TD addres and/or parameterblock offset. No risk that the PLC will stop working, be sure you hit the right button (upload) if you hit download you transfer an empty program to the PLC. By the way it's better to upgrade your Microwin version, there is a lot written about CN PLC's and older Microwin versions. The latest version SP8 or 9 can handle older programs, except the ones written in a dos version. STEP 7 MicroWIN V4.0 SP8 and SP9 - Available for Download If you have trouble to upload the PLC please search for CN threads for some tips. regards, Marcjan
