Then better go for one to one load and transfer will be good for you to save time or else you can use pointers to transfer a set of words to other set like using jump instruction or looping but is only good if you are good at jump instruction or else it will stop your CPU

You can PEEK_BOOL, PEEK_WORD, etc to select the type and size of data you want the called instruction to return. You can inspect data to see what datatype it is to help choose what type of peek / poke you want to do. You can use SCL for looping easily enough through a DB to grab data. To copy entire structures, create a user datatype (UDT), and in your DBs, make sure and use that UDT as the structure rather than saying struct within the DBs. Even though the data within a DB's struct is exactly the same as the UDT, portal will not allow you to move it or copy it. With UDTs, things get very easy. Simple SCL "DB_name1".UDT_Tagname1 := "DB_name2".UDT_Tagname1; Gets the job done for your copy. On some PLCs, you can mix SCL, LAD/FBD in the same block. It is not universally available, so don't assume it is available unless you choose the right plc / firmware revision and portal version. If you are using the latest available portal and firmware, you can use it on both 1200's / 1500's IIRC [if I recall correctly] TechWing how can use stl move more data to struct ？

The point is the STL shall be forgotten when creating new projects for S7-1500. TechWing SCL , i unskilled ... so want use STL... You should put some effort to learn the SCL then. It's not so hard. If you are not in a big hurry with your project, week or two should be enough.
