Dear All I have an application contains a 220 VDC Relay. This relay is energized by a Binary output signal from PLC. I need a supervision circuit to determine if the wiring path toward 220 VDC relay is ok or not. To constructing such a supervision circuit, I was thinking about a parallel circuit (Like attachment) with a binary input channel. When a wire break occurs, DI channel will be de-energized and this can be recognizable via PLC Logic. Because of some engineering and operational restrictions, I have to keep this solution. But, the problem: As I know, SIEMENS does not have any option for 220 VDC DI Module. So, I thought about inserting a resistor for voltage drop and using an isolated 24 VDC binary input (6ES7321-1CH00-0AA0) followed by a Diode to preventing reverse currents from 220 VDC relay. Is it a proper design or you have a better suggestion? Sincerely Mazdak Attachment220 VDC Binary Input.pdf (303 Downloads) |

BETTER IS TO USE AUX CONTACT ON RELAY, NOT THE ONE YOU PUT UP |
