Hello Tilu; The solution involving a Y-link will be almost impossible to make work. The settings for Profibus on an operator panel make it a Profibus Master Class 2, whereas a Y-Link is designed to link single-interface Profibus slaves to a S7-400H. This is inconsistent. Here are 2 similar documents proposing different ways to connect an operator panel to a S7-400H system over Profibus: How do you connect an operator panel (ProTool) to an H system (S7-400H)? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/13595393 How do you connect a panel to a SIMATIC H station? https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/23842653 The solutions are similar, the one that comes closest to your own design involves dual repeaters. The second link adds a software solution involving dynamic connections of a panel to the redundant CPUs. If your panel supports scripting you should examine it attentively, it might be interesting for you. Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |

New question published by AutoGen_8514578 is split to a separate thread with the subject TP700 comfort communicate in profibus with 410-5H. Best regards |
