Translation from the Italian text:
Ciao Ingant; Il forum Siemens utilizza l'inglese come lingua internazionale, facilita la comunicazione tra i membri di molti paesi. Scrivici in inglese alla tua prossima visita. Hello Ingant; Siemens forum uses English as the international language, facilitates communication between members from many countries. Write to us in English on your next visit. A PTC and an RTD have very different resistance values and typical curves, and you cannot directly use a PTC thermistor with an RTD module. The following article (in Englsih) from PLCengineers.com proposes a potential solution, without a sample program. Using Thermistors with the Siemens S7-1200 SM1231 RTD Signal Module http://www.plcengineers.com/sm1231rtd.html Another option would be to use a dedicated RTD/TC module that allows for PTC connection, such as the ET 200SP 6ES7134-6JD00-0CA1; you will find a partial technical datasheet of this module as as attachment. However this means using distributed I/O modules connected to your S7-1200 over Profinet, with a IM 155-6 head module, or, another possibility, changing your S7-1200 to an ET 200SP CPU, such as a S7-1512SP-1 PN CPU. If you want to look further, the ET 200SP manual will contain much information you would need for selection, configuration and prigramming of this ET 200SP CPU. And it can be displayed in Italian (see the Language selection in the download page). https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/84133942 Hope this helps, Daniel Chartier |
