Is it possible to create additional events for a faceplate?

Hi! 

Is it possible to create additional events for a faceplate?

I only have <OnActivated> and <OnDeactivated> and I would like to get an event if f.e. somebody is clicking on the faceplate.

I also looked a lot for this feature.

Ended up putting a button with zero opacity over the faceplate instance.

Yea I ended up at this point to. Which isn't a state I would like to use...

For some applications I'm using SVGs or dynamic Widgets to achieve my goal.

These are at least clickable.

At my plant I use symbols for different elements (f.e. a pump), which can be colored depending on it's state.

Because of many different plants and many pumps each I don't want to draw them every time and use a faceplate instead.

Well we do the same, like you I also have an hidden button the difference comes that mine is inside the Icon FP. and the only reason I have the hidden button is because the icon is so small.

I then pass all I need know through the interface, which if wanted can be changed from within the RunTime.

Following wil follow a few pictures with en example of an motor started with a frequenzyconverter.

the button has opacity 0.3 just so I can see it while placing, ones the FP is loaded it changes it to 0.

P.S. the index is both used so I can only have one instance of the PopUp open at a time and I can decide to have only have one PopUp for all motors/valves or have them open seperatly so I can se detailed view of more then one motor/valve at the same time.

Does anyone know if this has been improved in V18?  

I am also struggling with this. 

In the Comfort Panel I could get the Press and Release Events of a Hidden button to show as an event of my Faceplate.  I could then assign the Press or Release Events to whatever was needed in the project.  Assigning values, starting pop-ups etc.  

I am not seeing any clear way to get this functionality in Unified Comfort
