6ED1052-1MD08-0BA1 LOGO - forgotten password

load80 Member Joined: 1/20/2020 Last visit: 3/6/2024 Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hi ixo65 I have a 6ED1052-1MD08-0BA1 LOGO. My problem is a follow: I was added one password for LSC & web Access. And I forgot this password I read many forums and etc. from this problem I did not get ahead I can not with the display menu to STOP mode My LOGO FW version: 1.83.01 With menu display can not Switch to ADMIN mode I dont konow the Password, however I have already tried the default password: LOGO, logo, Logo, ADMIN,admin. Can I still use the LOGO in the future or do I have to buy a new one? How can I completely reset my LOGO if I don't know the password? regards ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Can't access the logo.

Start a Support Request. Maybe Siemens can help.

But he has set a password for the LSC access and has forget the password.

Hilarious, tried too and locked out himself from LOGO. Fortunately i know which LSC access password i set before trying and can do factory reset... but this looks really like way to shoot own leg. SD card method (saving empty program LOGO_U_P.bin) doesn't work either.

Open Logosoft Click File ----> Properties ----> Online Settings Connect to LOGO. On left pane, click Clear program and password. ----> Clear Now the program and password removed. ixo65 Grandmaster-Expert Joined: 12/18/2014 Last visit: 11/18/2024 Posts: 34239 Rating: (4263)	If is set the password for the LSC access and the password for admin mode and the password is forgetten (or unknown), you have no change to make factory reset, if the LOGO! is not in admin mode. 1) Via display: Without the password for admin mode you can't set the LOGO! via display in admin mode if the LOGO! in operator mode. And only in admin mode you can switch the LOGO! in STOP. And only in STOP you have the menu entry "Factory Reset". 2.) Via Sofware: Without the password for the LSC access you can't connect the LOGO!. And without the access you can't select the menu entry in LSC for the factory reset. This can be avoided by transferring an empty program to an mSD card and inserting the mSD card into the LOGO! is plugged in and the voltage supply of the LOGO! turns on again. This initiates a restart, the LOGO! loads the empty program into the program memory. So it does not start and remains in STOP mode. Passed the first hurdle. But ... Now comes the second hurdle. The menu entry "Factory Reset" is not available without an operator password. Quintessence: It is not possible to do a factory reset if both passwords have been set and the passwords are not known.
