Html browser option in KTP 700 basic able to access google search engine in simulation

bombPakkiri Regular Member Joined: 5/7/2021 Last visit: 5/2/2024 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	While testing with HTML browser in ktp 700 basic, Unintentionally when testing just pasted " https://www.google.com " and simulated, While simulate my laptop is connected to internet and the html browser is able to get access to Google webpage,through HMI simulation and also able to use various web-pages without issues, only video files are not getting access. After this we also downloaded the same backup in a physical KTP700 basic HMI and connected internet through ethernet but practically it can't able to connect to Google search engine , we also connect internet through USB also it can't able to reach. In simulation it is possible means in practical HMI also it should be possible right ? is there any options to connect HMI with internet ? attached a video link check this video Attachment 700 basic hmi simulation able to access google through HTML browser.zip (497 Downloads)

This means only access via the IP address is supported. You can check this information on the following link: HTML browser

The simulation uses some ressources of the Windows OS on which it runs. But on the Panel there is another OS with limited functionality. You can simulate very much of the common functionality but this here is not a equal behaviour to the real Panel HW. Bye Murof
