313-C-DP Master and IM151-7 as slave

RB_NAVI Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hello, how can i do HW Konfig of the Slave. I used the getting started in the IM151 documentation. Sendet the DP congif via mpi direct to the slave, but now i can´t reach over MPI (guess because is now DP Slave) also not with mpi connection at the master. Master shows run without BF. Slave shows run with BF. Is there anywhere a how to?I want to connect 3 Et200S as intelligent slaves at a the 313 Master. Regards Ralf

Comparable with your setup where the IM151-7 is an i-Slave of a S7-313 The fact that you do not have a BF on your S7-313 (but on the IM151 you have BF) indicates clearly that the 313 does not have any slave configured in its HW. Basic procedure is 1) to have the 313C and the IM151-7 in the same project. 2) To access the slave for programming over the bus, check the box "test, commisioning, routing" as in the picture in annex. 3) Add the i-Slave IM151-7 in the HW of the 313 as "Configured station ==> ET200S CPU). Couple the IM151-7 in the same project to the 313 and start to configure the areas that the IM151-7 and the 313C will exchange. 4) download slave and master. RB_NAVI Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hello jklm, thanks for answer, but i can´t check if it was helpful or not at the moment, general I would say yes. But. It seems that 2 of the MMC during I was playing around with the plc´s were unreadable. so at the moment i can´t transfer programs to it. At reset acc to manual is everything ok but when i put mmc to the IM151 connection is lost and all the same like before. Support says i have to reformat the card. But that is not possible with a normal card reader... and it seems it is also not possible in the plc. So now i have to find somebody who has a Siemens Prommer or Laptop to reformat it. Regards Ralf
