315F-2 PN/DP and Zebra communication using integrated PN interface

Oleh_ Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Hallo guys, i'm trying to establish connection betweenCPU 315F-2 PN/DP and Zebra ZM400. So CPU must send data to printer. I'm using FB 63/64/65/66 TSEND/ TRECV/ TCONN/ TDISCON and integrated PROFINET at CPU side. I am getting TSEND Status "80A1", that means that there is no connection (as i understand). Both are in the same IP range and phisically connected (i can ping them both from each side). I've tried direct connection from CPU's integrated network port to printer, but with no luck too. TCP_Endpoint FC seems to be ok too: CALL FC TCP_ENDPOINT ID :=#C3.ID (value is 5, it's unique) DEV_ID :=B#16#2 ACTIV :=TRUE LOC_PORT:=L#2500 REM_PORT:=L#9100 IP_ADDR1:=10 IP_ADDR2:=8 IP_ADDR3:=100 IP_ADDR4:=101 CON_DB :=#T_PARAM Only suggestions i have are: Local port is wrong (normally allowed to use from 2000) or Activ must be deactivated (not really sure). Maybe someone have some ideas, it will be very helpfull. UPD: also, in network setting of CPU (in Hardware config), routing is enabled. Can this cause any problems? Thanks in advance. Oleh

Kaulquappe Posts: 3093 Rating: (323)	Hello Oleh, some oder firmware versions of the CPU supported only port 2000 to 5000, this may cause error 80A1. Even when you use a local port number twice 80A1 will occur. It is possible to run different protocol via the integrated ethernet interface of the CPU as long as different local port numbers are used. Regards, Kaulquappe

For this version is possible multiple using of same port, but as understand Siemens advices to use LOCAL ports 2000 to 5000, because others can be used by system. And from this point, using LOCAL port 2500 is OK. Or must i use REMOTE port also from this erea? Regards, Oleh

Oleh_ Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	So, it works now. The problem was that i wanted to establish connection without CPU Restart. Since i have put it to STOP and than started again connection was established (important thing is initialisation process in OB100 and OB1 (sample progarm)). Many thanks to Kaulquappe.
