315T CPU Hydarulic Axes MC

Erdem Sivri Posts: 26 Rating: (0)	Hello I am thinking of controling 2 hydraulics axes with 315 technology CPU. I am a newbie in technology CPUs. I want to control 2 hydarulic propotional valves with 315T. There are encoder feedback for both of axes. One is an absolute encoder, one is incremental encoder. First question is : 1) How will I wire encoders and valves to tech CPU. Do I have to use IM174 for encoder and valve connections. Can I use ET200S in isochrone mode? Can I use standart S7-300 modules? 2) I know how to program CPU but never used technological application before. I have created a hydraulic axes and configured feedback encoder but I dont know how to position the hydarulic valve. Should I use cam? The application is a parabolic leaf production machine. 2 hydraulic axes. One is constant speed x axis. The y axis should position itself according to x position so according to x position chnage y position should move with a formulation 3) How will I formulate this realtionship in Scout? 4) Which tehcnology FB should I use? This is the simpliest way to connect hydraulic axis. Erdem Sivri 2) I know how to program CPU but never used technological application before. You need to enable the axis (MC-Power), maybe reset it (MC-Reset)and then you have to give a position command (e.g. MC_MoveRelative). You should use a cam to improve the positioning performance. If possible you should use S7-Tech(nology). SCOUT is only tested with SIMOTION controllers. It should work with T-CPU, but this is not tested. S7-Tech is tested with the T-CPU. You may use synchonation command (MC_GearIn or MC_CamIn) to synchronize the pos. axis to the one with const. speed. Like it is done in the application exampel"Feeder" . If you need a more complexe relationship you may use the Technology Template "Move 3D" . Erdem Sivri 4) Which tehcnology FB should I use? see 3)
