61850 Communication on ethernet

faizii Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	hi , i am using a sicam PAS V6.0 for communicating siemens sprotec devices in ring topology. i am facing problem that some of the devices are going offline in the operation and are not able to ping the devices..how can i fix this problem..i have checked the FO link to the devices, i check by resetting the device but still the problem there.. regards faizii

So here is not the best place post your doubts. The contact from Energy Automation Support is support.energy@siemens.com There are many variables which has to be analised in your project. But when you say you cannot ping the devices, this can indicate a problem in network, switch configuration on in the network card from Siprotec. Here are some good manuals from Siprotec.
