6ES7414-4HM14-0AB0 Hardware Config

Hello,

 I currently have a 414-H system with 2 6ES7414-4HM14-0AB0 and I have just updated them to firmware version 4.5.6.

The firmware update worked fine.  I am trying to update a spare processor the site has that is not installed I am just trying to connect through my laptop directly to the processor to update the firmware so it is the same as the 2 that are being used.  I cannot download a simple hardware config to the processor.

I can ping the processor what it is not available to do a hardware config to.

I have attached the simple project.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Do you want to update the new CPU a new configuration and rack set up, right?From  hardware side in CPU check the rack number switch to be set in rack#0 , it is located to rear part of CPU. Select the correct PG/PC interface and then try to download again.
