ZenOn to WinCC flexible

desmul24 Posts: 378 Rating: (73)	Hello, I have SIMATIC PC670 on machine, the HMI program was made by ZenOn V5.5 and ZenOn runtime is installed on PC670 to run the program. Now I need to convert to wincc flexible to install on MP377, The program has a lot of buttons and I/O fields (more than 400). I can program in WinCC flex by seeing the address related to each I/O fields from ZenOn source program manually, but this method kills my time plus I may end up with mistakes. Is there anyone have experience with converting ZenOn to WinCC flexible? Regards

Regards There is no tool to migrate from ZenOn to WinCC flexible, but the shiny side is that you have the source which will make your job more easy than just guessing the HMI addresses. Just take care when configuring the communication

Hello UMENCHO, The file types are: .idx .vbf .dbd .zp .prj .symb .mod Note that I have tried to open this files with Notepad, Excel and I can not see meaningfull characters. Thank you!

Thanks hi , haven't done but can you try for /Tagalarm text /Text list ,if CSV Exportoption available to minimize your work and then import to wincc flex VP

Open the project -> Variable -> In local menu before filter icon has another one "Import S7 project". Click there and select "Export CSZ all". Save As -> select name and type of file. 2.How can you import/export configuration data (discrete and analog alarm messages, tags and connections) from/to a CSV file in WinCC flexible 2008? (create a project and one tag) export procedure 3. Open both files and copy/paste procedure...When the WinCC Flex file is prepared with all tags from Zenon HMI project, save and import it in WinCC Flex project. To be honest I found one document showing transfering the tags between Siemens 505 Workshop and Zenon HMI. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

As you have said, I have exported to .csv format and I get tag name column and PLC adress column but the problem I have faced is PLC adress for example for adress DB8.DBW0 i get EDW (2) 008. 0000 . 000 But now I have made some excel formula to convert ZenOn adress format to SIMATIC format, and added to .csv tag lists. Now I am (you are) sucessfully converted the 950 Tags to wincc! I have concluded that I have no option to convert the graphic items, I should do it manually but it will take me two or three weeks. UMENCHO To be honest I found one document showing transfering the tags between Siemens 505 Workshop and Zenon HMI. Whould you like to give me this document? Thanks again and I owe you one!
