Hello_world, Your acceleration time probably depends more upon the inertia of your load and components of the drive system you decide to use. It is good practice to keep the inertia ratio of load:motor at 3:1 or less for excellent responsiveness. The drive size and motor size will dictate how much torque you will end up with at the motor shaft. Then a calculation could be made. A good tool for drive and motor selection from Siemens is SIDIM which can be found at http://support.automation.siemens.com. Hope this helps... |
