Hi, I cant add any new ActiveX Controls in my controls panel. I do it like in :https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&objId=40614405&nodeid0=10805577&load=content&lang=en&siteid=cseus&aktprim=0&objaction=csview&extranet=standard&viewreg=WW but nothing happens... I still have the old one set of controls without new. WinCC 7 SP 3. I add that I remeber that did it once in different project and it worked.

Hello white_snoopy , Please tell us your specific problem. Which activex control is you are going to add to wincc? Is your activex component is listed under Available OCX Controls? If not listed first on command prompt Regsvr32 path_of_your_ocx\file_name.ocx Regards |

Hello again. Try uninstall all wincc softwares then install and dont forget to restart your PC after uninstalling. Regards |

Off course you want to avoid that but regarding your issue, it's seems like an installation error. |

No real fast way, uninstall procedure is described in manual located in your installation directory under "Install_and_Release-Notes\english\InstallNotes.pdf", chapter 6. In case you don't have it right now, I attached the chapter but you probably know it. What you can try is to install a newer update (latest is Update 5 for V7 SP3). I've reinstall WinCC and it didn't fix the problem. |

did you install as Administrator? If this didn't fix the problem, I guess Support Request is the only option left |
