AlarmControl Problem

Well, i've created proper tags, configured alarm logging and inserted the WinCCAlarmControl (ActiveX), but when i start RunMode it appears the following message: "All server connections failed". No messagens appears. Into AlarmControl configuration, "All servers" is check marked at server selection. Which are the possible problems ocurring? What could i do to fix it? Well, thanks! Would appreciate your help.

Would appreciate your help. Hi, - Did you activate the Client project or Server project? If you runtime Client Project, the Server project may not activated so this message may be appeared. - If you run server project, did you have a Package server license? and you have created package?

Okie, if you have a system with a WinCC Server and a WinCC Client: - You create alarm logging in WinCC Server - Create package in WinCC Server by clicking to Server data in WinCC Explorer and chose create package. - In WinCC Client, you make a picture with a WinCC Alarm Control. in WinCC Explorer by clicking to Server Data and choose import package. You find the path of WinCC Server where has the package that you created before. You must be sure that the connection between WinCC Client and Server is good and user is right for configuration. in WinCC Alarm control you could choose All Server or you choose the server you have.

LFSA Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	Ok! I really apreciate your help, although i think i don't have Server mode here, cause at WinCC Explorer "Server Data" doesn't appear. Well, at About WINCC it appears Server, but i can't still find the server data. =/ I'm using WinCC v7.0 . Any clue about what should i do? Best regards!

Hi, In your project folder you find the path to folder with the name of your computer. In this folder you can show the package in Packages folder. Regards, NTV

LFSA Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	I'm still getting "all server connections failed". I created my project (multi project), then created the server data, and alarm logging. So i've started a new project (maybe im doing wrong doing this), imported server data and created an alarm screen using alarmcontrol, check marked "All servers". Maybe i should do all of this at the same project, right? But, how to use the same project as Server / client? I'm trying to do it work, if it does i'll post here... Btw, this help topic would help me "Configuring Clients in the Server Project" Thanks!

LFSA Posts: 14 Rating: (0)	It Worked! There was a problem missing At COMPUTER -> Server -> Startup -> Alarm Logging Runtime was not activated. Thanks a lot! Have learnt so much trying to solve this problem!
