dear sir,
it was a working system , but suddenly the analog input showing high value i.e 32767. i go to the following link but i am not getting any proper guidance. /tf/WW/en/Posts/105049 my harware configuration is cpu 1212c ac/dc/rly (214-1ag31-0xb0) and an analog input module(231-4hd30-0xbo). i donwloaded a new sample program to plc and checked the analog input stil am getting 32767. what will be the problem for this,, i changed the analog input module with a new one but still it showing 32767. i had not connected any inputs. i had give only 24 v supply to the moduless.i had unchecked all the overflow and underflow diagnostics too. and when i tried to inject 4-20mA using fluke volt/ma caliberator plc not accepting any values it shows fully 32767. new module also showing the same 32767 ( new one just opened the packet) . what will be the problem for that.. pls i need an urgent help from some one, thanks and regards antony |

Hello, I think you did not connect it properly: How do you connect a sensor to the analog signal modules of SIMATIC S7-1200? And Unused analog inputs should be shorted., Of course you need to compile and download the hardware as well and make sure you have selected the right hardware and settings for the AI module. If you jumper your analog input to M (DC common), does it read 0? If you switch it to +/-10VDC and inject say 0 or 1.5V (AA battery), does it work properly? What voltage is measured on your DC common (M) relative to PE or machine ground? It might be your machine ground has a bad connection, though less likely to problem. |
