If no other solution, try using reset_wincc.vbs instead. It doesn't happen daily? |

If the issue is still about shutting down WinCC gracefully using the UPS, then use the following FAQ: How do you safely terminate WinCC by means of an external application? http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/89257244 You do not need internal tags. |

TomazO, Reset_WinCC.vbs is not "killing", it's stopping all WinCC processes and services, without warnings. If UPS Needs to Shutdown, it's much safer to force Reset_WinCC and shutdown Windows in a safe way than to have a sudden powerloss on a running Windows & WinCC. If you can't live with the above solution, you'll need to make a Support Request for an change request to the c-script. |
