its a start and thanks but i really need to have the pulse timed both off and on for the heater to maintain the heat |

The point is, that the PWM is the ready to use function for your application, but you have not tested the example. Your table shows a linear characteristic and the PWM will automatically use the right on and off times, if you use proper parameter. PWM1 Try out with different percent values. Switch on I1 and wait, until the on time is over. Then you can see measured time in the display. The right part of Q1 is only needed for simulation and displaying the on-time of Q1.
