Aura Marine Backwash Filter - PLC program diagram

Please, send me to e-mail electrical diagram of that PLC program, installed inside the PLC. Because there is problem of the Aura Marine Backwash filter, and I can't understant, what is the reason. 

After PLC program start - solenoid valve of chamber change is acting and remains under power. Relay output No2 is under power at all time, but flashing is not happened. All of that is controlled by PLC. And I need diagram, to understant malfunction.

Very sorry, unless you can give us more information on the type of CPU installed on your backwash filter, it will be very difficult for us to provide any kind of help.

If you want a copy of the original PLC program designed to control your Auramarine Backwash Filter, or a replacement CPU,  maybe you should be contacting Auramarine directly:

If you intend to replace the Auramarine controller with a Siemens Logo!, for example, and need help to design the program, maybe someone here can provide guidance.

Hi alex,

I'm 3rd Eng. on board, i fixed all mechanical problems and i found you. We have totally same problem. So i made a requisition for plc, ill update for any change if plc comes in my contract :). 

Besides i suspect of 'planned obsolescence', for exp. after x number of cycles it starts to give a problem, or LOGO goes to dead end, so you should buy a new one from the manufacturer since u cant find the program inside the plc.

Edit: I must sorry for my suspect, i imagined if someone from auramarine reads this it would be improper. I cant assume things with my limited knowledges. Besides i found the problem which is user mistage.

In my opinion if this is the real situation, the problem may come from some input or variables that result in the continuous activation of the Q2. Otherway the output should turn on immediately without wait taht the PLC start.

But maybe a better description of the situation, the used PLC, some pictures or video can help to understand your problem.

I investigate everyting, i found the problem and now everything works fine!

My first problem was i didn't properly test PLC after solving my mechanical problems. That fooled me the solenoid coil continuously stays magnetized. On the other hand my PLC settings were completely unreasonable and wrong. 

Alex's problem might be unproperly setting of PLC, especially 'filling time' might be adjusted too long. 

when you turn on the filter/PLC it will either turn/change position directly or will not turn, how every its rly doesn't matter. Its according to stages / which filter is in operation.

Here I want to explain how it must works. When you turn on the device, it turned the position, then 3mins filling time PLC will count. After that 2h timing will continue to count and during that time ur coil will stay magnetized for 2hours! Now if you push manual backwash button or wait 2hours timer, now coil will demagnetized so position will change. After 5sc down side solenoid will be activated and backflush will be carried out for 5 seconds. And after the 5sc downside solenoid will be demagnetized and 3mins filling time and 2h counters will start to count! You cannot test manual backwash button untill 3mins filling time completion. After 2h ur position change coil will be active again for 2h! 

In 30mins my coil got 139 C degree and stopped there, idk which kind of coil that used but it must be up to 155C. For my mental health :) i put computer cpu cooling grids, temp is directly dropped to 110C.

My settings are: filling time=2mins, backflush duration=4sc, backflash timing=2h.
