Hi All, I want to take FULL BACKUPS of all SIPROTEC devices that are installed in a substation. By FULL BACKUPS I mean the possibility to have available all possible data and configuration parameters, such as protection information, network configuration of EN100 module, CFCs, etc. Can you please provide me with a detailed step-by-step procedure on how can I have a identical copies of the SIPROTEC 4 devices on my PC? Thanks in advance for your time! |

Hi
create a new Project, click with right button click on a empty area and select Plug&Play. You must use a Serial cable connected to the front port of Siprotec.
If Siprotecs have IEC61850 or Profibus FMS, you cannot use the retrieved backup for other Projects or Change Parameters

Hi
I strongly suggest participating on a Training. I don't know what is your knowledge Level about protection or Automation Systems, but it is the Basis before starting with Siprotec. I already read question like "how much Amperes should I configure in Siprotec to protect my trafo" |

Yes, I attended a training SIPROTEC 5 at Siemens, but have in my installation the SIPROTEC 4, so until it receives a specific training myself am seeking knowledge out. Thank you for now. |
