( Both CPUs go to STOP mode when a download is performed ) I mean, what is the whole point of using a 400H system when we cannot download even small changes ( From Programmer / Customer's Point of view ) without disturbing the process. Many times the system is put into operation while some parts of the plant may not be ready. We have to download the blocks / Hardware for these parts, as and when these are ready, with the plant running. Regards Navnag

Hal Limmer Experienced Member Joined: 4/17/2007 Last visit: 7/26/2024 Posts: 47 Rating: (1)	We have been using PCS7 H system for a few years and have been able to add remote racks (ET-200) profibus drops without any stops in the CPU's. Only thingis ifyou change interfaces to the blocks you must put it in stop, but this can be avoided by leaving the block and creating a new one, clean up when you can stop the process. Not sure why you are always going into stop, make sure that your settings are to download "changes only" Good Luck!
