Big HMI for S7-300

mjsh401 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone: I want to design a PLC program for monitoring 9 sensor using HMI. But I have a problem. The bigest Touch panel I found is 17" and it's small for my project. I need a bigger one. It is considerable that I dont need touch feature beacause I just want to show sensors value. so I think it is better to use and industrial monitor. Is there any model of S7-300 that can be connected to a monitor directly using VGA port or another Interface. Thanks a lot.

Or alternatively a PC with a screen as big as you want (But you will need additional software, SIMATIC NET (OPC server) and some programming in PC to display the right data) Or use WinCC flexible Runtime. Or perhaps you can use any Text Display(LED display), to show the data. You can connect is through serial communication. Best regards, Wizard

For the SIMATIC S7-MODULAR EMBEDDED CONTROLLER EC31-RTX there is a expantion module with DVI output. Here you can runa Win AC (SoftPLC) and WinCCflexible Runtime (Software-Panel). Or you white a windows program by yourself that reads the data from the WinACand displays them.
