brake functions or Brakes will Automatically applied

I am using Siemens S7 300 PLC model 315 2PN/DP and it is communicating with Servo Motor through CU305 module and I am using Part # 1FK70423BK711RA0 Servo Motor with it but now I am changing the motor to Part # 1FK70423BK711RB0 to add brakes.

Can Anybody tell me;

Do I need to make any changes in the program for brake functions or Brakes will Automatically applied?

Which software I need for above model of the software and which type of communication cable I need for this Motor?

Split from s7300 CAN Bus communcation via helmholz CAN 300 with lenze 9300 servo drive.

I looked in to the manual and find parameter P1215 to be change to 1. I never did commissioning before that's why scared in taking chance so just want to change the parameter.

Can you tell me that every time brake applied themselves when servo motor stops or we need to change the logic in servomotor because my problem is that I want to bring motor to stop position if someone violate the light curtain and this is happening perfectly but there is a coast which motor takes to come to stop position for which I am adding motor with brakes to avoid coast that motor takes to come to stop position.

One thing more I am unable to download the starter software start drive V13 SP1 if you can kindly send me some link other then Siemens web then it will be a great help as well.

Someone else?  I'm pretty good at knowing what to do, but knowing specific bits is not my forte.

It would probably help if we knew specifically which drive you were using. 

i need a connection of brakes from CU305 PM340 to 1FK7 motor. I look at the connection in the attached drawings but can't understand the output coming from connector 1 & 2 is 24VDC or 120VAC if it is DC then why we are using external relay as mentioned in S110 manual because as per my understanding switching of the brake will be through a parameter P1215.

Use the Safe Brake Relay.  If I understand correctly, the PM340 provides an output for brake control but cannot source enough current to open the brake nor does it have a surge suppressor.  System is 24VDC, not 120 V (unless you would like Deep Fried Brake for lunch).

I did your configuration on SIZER and it did not specifically say I needed the relay, so you may try to operate without it if you do not need to conform to EN-954-1.  I always add it to be, well, safe.
