C# custom controll ITag

Hi,

I have a problem reading Tags from custom controll programed in C#. ( We will use it in Wincc RT advanced )

I have an example writen in vbs that works. All i want to do is implement the same thing
in C# since we use c# for everything.

I don't know how to set the ITag object in C#.I have a problem with shown code!

On Error Resume Next

' if nested in WinCC: get the Tagset Object from the container
m_ITag = Site.GetService(GetType(ITag))

' or if nested in Windows From
If m_ITag Is Nothing Then
    m_ITag = CreateObject("CCITagControl.ITagControl.1")
End If

' Connect to server
m_RegisterCookie = m_ITag.Register(Me)
' Add all items in the current view
'AddItemsToGroup()

End If

 So in C# I dont have GetType function and I dont know what the alternative is.
For CreateObject I found an alternative but it doesn't seem to work!

Type ExcelType = Type.GetTypeFromProgID(Provider1);
dynamic ExcelInst = Activator.CreateInstance(ExcelType);
_ITag = (ITag)ExcelInst;

 If you managed to make this code work in C# or you have an example i would be grateful.

I never built a custom control, but I know C# a little bit.
And for what I know, there is a "GetType" Method: https://docs.microsoft.com/de-de/dotnet/api/system.object.gettype?view=netcore-3.1 

But I think the VBS use is different.

The code you've posted is incomplete, therefore I don't know about all object types.
But I try to show how it could look in C# :

// assuming "Site" is a container
foreach(object element in Site)
{
    CCITagControl.ITagControl.1 m_ITag  = element as CCITagControl.ITagControl.1;
    if (m_ITag == null)
    {
        CCITagControl.ITagControl.1 m_ITag  = new CCITagControl.ITagControl.1();
    }
}
