Can configure something to access to the port 100.68.136.111 remotely?

mikel.garmendia Posts: 33 Rating: (0)	Hello! I have configured my IoT2040 with Huawei 709S-2 following the steps of this tutorial. I have installed correctly and now I am connected to Internet with the SIM card. Now I want to connect with the IoT2040 remotely. It exists any way to configure the ppp0 IP for that? When I run the command ifconfig I receive this information: ppp0 Link encap:Point-to-Point Protocol inet addr:100.68.136.111 P-t-P:10.64.64.64 Mask:255.255.255.255 UP POINTOPOINT RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1 RX packets:38369 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0 TX packets:48189 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0 collisions:0 txqueuelen:3 RX bytes:7771616 (7.4 MiB) TX bytes:19736015 (18.8 MiB) Can I configure something to access to the port 100.68.136.111 remotely? It is behaving like a "normal" interface. So I would try to ping the address of your ppp0 interface from another device connected to the internet. If this is possible you can try to get connected via ssh to that IP address. It is depending on your provider wheter that is possible or not. If this is possible I would set a password immediately, because it is reachable for everyone. Best regards!
