Can I use Memory Card 12M to update firmware of CPU 1214C?

Hi guys, good day / Night.

Somebody can help me please ?? I removed the firmware of my CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC

E.g. (6ES7 214-1AE30-0XB0)  with Reset Factory command and now I am finding a big problem to update my PLC. 

So I'd like to know if I can use the Memory Card 12M E.g.(6ES7954-8LE01-0AA0) to update my CPU?

I need to know it before of purchase because the MEMORY CARD is very expensive in Brazil.

Another question, I can update my PLC by web server using Tia portal software?

about your question:

I believe that the firmware was removed because after I used the Reset Factory command , the PLC comes not in Run mode and its LED are only flashing orange color.

For this reason I believe that the firmware has been removed.

Now I need to know the way to update my PLC by  web server.

have you check in Online&Diagnostics the status and diagnostic of the PLC?
Is the PLC found on accessible Nodes ?

Hello,

After reset to factory setting , normally device become new brand PLC if you said IP also reset while factory reset.

You don't need to upadte firmware version of PLC. Just download the new program in PLC .

For firmware update,SIMATIC Automation tool is best way and main thing its free tool from Siemens but only from V4.0 onwards.

Min 24 mb memory card is required for firmware update.
