Can 'network input' and 'network analog input' point to the same word?

Does a network input element and a network analog input element use the same word if they are both assigned the same VB / VM?

For example, if a network input element points to VB 0.0 and VM network analog input points to VM 0 - are they both looking at the same 0 register?

In a Network Project, could I then take the same network analog input element and forward it to a network analog output?

See the attached screenshot of what I mean.

What I'm trying to do is have my master controller receive a word from the Modbus master (network analog input), and have the master controller look at certain bits of that word (network input) - but then pass that word to other controllers on the network (network analog output).  Is that possible?

The bit V0.0 is a part of the Byte VB0. Also a part of the Word VW0 and of the Double Word VD0.

If write in V0.0 and at the same time in VW0, you have a overlapping.

 Oh yes... I once shoot myself in the foot with this. It was slightly annoying.

But your list gave me an idea about a gripe I've had a long time with the Logo SW: That there is apparently no possibility to split a word in bits and vice versa! Now I see how I can just mit Network inputs and outputs to get this to work!

I just wanted to clarify that I WANT to overlap the network input and network analog input, that way I could I look at the bits individually but then pass the entire word to another controller on the network.

I fixed the image on my original post to show what I mean.

No.  This is what I want (please see the attachment in my original post):

Modbus Master -> Logo1 VW0

Logo1 V0.0 -> Logo1 Q1

Logo1 VW0 -> Logo2 VW0

Logo2 V0.1 -> Logo2 Q1

That means one word sent by the Modbus master controls Q1 and Q1 of both Logos, each bit of the of word sent by the Modbus master indicates which output on which Logo.
