Can not connect my laptop to CU320 via USB-RS232 converter

I have set address, transmission rate, highest station number, and profibus address like your manual attached. I can not connect anyway. May you have a solution? Thank you

Thank you Hi I suggest not to use Rs232 port as it is normally used for HMI -CU comm. not for Download/Upload/Monitor program. VP

MRC11 Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Most new PC's do not have a 9 pin connection for RS232 nowadays....so you must use a USB TO RS232 converter....and this is where the problems start... I have found that some USB to RS232 serial cable adapters do not work with Siemens drives and Starter...namely DCM for me...I nowadays always connect by a CP5711. Connection by the incorrect USB to RS232 on PPI or serial causes blue screen dumps...
