Can ping but cannot connect

Hello everyone,

I am using a LOGO! thanks to LOGO! soft comfort v8.0. 

When I am trying to upload my program to the PLC, nothing happened. Indeed, I cannot see the PLC in the network when I am scanning this one.

My LOGO! network config is: 

IP address: 192.168.0.3

Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

Gateway: 192.168.0.0

I am directly plug, thanks to the Ethernet cable, to the LOGO!.

I set the same subnet mask and gateway on my config in my PC and put the IP address 192.168.0.8. When I ping 192.168.0.3 in Windows, it works very well and I can also successfully ping my computer with the LOGO!. 

When I am on LOGO! soft comfort, I cannot see the LOGO! on my network when I scan it (I've already checked if I am on the right ethernet peripheric for the scan). If I 'Go online', the connection is set anyway. But when I try to 'PC -> LOGO!' or to put the PLC in runnig mode, nothing happened.

Does anyone know where are my mistakes?

You must install Update 8.2

Yes that is right.But most people who have this problem are concerned with software updates

at first welcome to the forum.

I you haven't different subnets for PC and LOGO!, then you need no gateway address setting.

Are you shure, that you have in LSC select the correct network adapter?

You wrote, you have LSC V8.0. Is it a full version or the demo version?

Which LOGO! have you exactly? Please write the exact order number und FS version.

 I also checked, and I selected the 'Ethernet' adapter. My version isn't a demo (in fact, I was in demo version first time when I tried to connect, I'd just turned my version onto the complete one).

I have the LOGO! from reference 6ed1052-1hb08-0ba0 .

Your LOGO! is the actually LOGO!8.2. In the device selection it is a LOGO!8.FS4.

For this LOGO! you need at least LSC V8.1. To use all functions, you need at least V8.2.

Better is upgrading to the actually LSC V8.2.1.

If your LSC version is a full version, then can upgrade for free.

It's a 1,3 GB sized complete package.

After the download start the setup as a administrator.

 Well, the update allows me to connect and transfer my program!

Then can you also at every time write: Update the firmware, if it is possible.

 Does updating the system cause a problem?
