Can't UPLOAG G120 PROGRAM WITH SIMOTION SCOOT 5.1

FRANCK HERVE Bronze Member Joined: 2/10/2015 Last visit: 10/5/2024 Posts: 288 Rating: (1)	hello everyone, I have a problem with the recovery of a SINAMICS G120 program. the program was edited with STARTER, but I have SIMOTION SCOUT 5.1 installed on my PC. Is it really possible to get the program back to my PC with SIMOTION SCOOT. I made the search for subscribers accessible with SIMOTION SCOOT and I was able to find the subscribers, but I cannot get the program from the device into my PC. I added the SINAMIC G120 device found in the subscriber search in my PC but, I still cannot recover the program. I see errors. I also noticed that I have the SINAMICS G120 CU240E-2PN V4.7.6.3 version only in my software, but the version of the device installed is SINAMICS G120 CU240E-2PN V4.7.10.3 so I don't know if this version difference may be the cause of my problem. need your help, thanks. see screenshots Attachment capture.zip (468 Downloads)

It seems that that SSP cannot be installed with Scout 5.1 One question, you need to UPLoad your parameters from G120, may it be possible to use STARTER tool instead of Scout ? Probably you will solve the issue in few moments...

Probably you will solve the issue in few moments... thank you for your help, but I had proceeded to the installation of STARTER and as I have already installed simotion scout so when I launched the installation of STARTER, I again perceived an error telling me that I have already scout on my PC and therefore I will not be able to install STARTER. Do you think that by uninstalling Scout and installing STARTER first, I will be able to reinstall Scout again on the same pc since STARTER is already there. as I said, I have a production line which was programmed with STARTER and the other with Scout so, I may be thinking that the ideal is to have both software, however, I have problems with their installations on the same PC. can you suggest something for me that will solve my problem, please help me.
